NUE’s unique Tong Bian (Brass scraper) Gua Sha technique stimulates the vascular nerves in partial tissues and takes blood stasis attached to the wall of blood vessels out, expelling the toxins via circulation all over the body, purifying the blood, and hence, relieving the ailments and promoting recovery.

工具、层次、深度都不同。The tools, levels and depths are all different. NUE 使用的刮痧工具是李道政老师集30年刮痧经验，鋾造出的一把“虎符铜砭”。虎符铜砭由黄铜所制。黄铜本身不仅具有杀菌消毒的功能，和人体接触时也能达到非常强的共振频率，气更容易通达脏腑，增加疗效。在临床中，黄铜材质的工具刮痧易出痧，且只有黄铜才可刮出黑痧，治疗效果最好。

Hu Fu Tong Bian 虎符铜砭 is made of Brass which is anti-microbial and have an inherent ability to kill a wide range of harmful microbes relatively rapidly. 何谓“痧”？What is SHA?

“痧”是经络气血中的“瘀秽”，俗称痧毒。它阻碍气血的运行、营养物质和代谢产物的交换、引发组织器官病变，故中医有 “百病皆可发痧”之说。临床上我们把患者皮肤上用特制刮痧器具刮出的红色、紫红色斑点、斑块称之为痧。“痧”是形成诸多疾病和加速衰老的有害毒素，也可以说从微循环中分离出来的瘀血和病理产物称为“痧”。百病皆可发痧，对于感冒发烧、咳嗽、喉咙痛、高血压、糖尿病、肩颈酸痛等各种痛症都有很好的疗效。

It is a term unique to Chinese medicine, referring to the “stasis” in the vital energy and blood in main and collateral channels. If not expelled timely, it will block the circulation of the vital energy and blood, and the exchange between nutrients and metabolites, leading to diseases in human tissues and inner organs. Therefore, according to Chinese medicine, “All kinds of diseases can result in Sha.” The harmful toxin leads to many kinds of diseases while speeding up ageing. So, in essence, Sha itself is the toxin in human body. Consequently, it is also commonly known as “Toxic Sha.”
